Sylvia Thornton
Photographer & Art Blogger

I’ve loved taking photos for many years and now with digital media I love it even more. I’m able to be more creative by editing and enhancing my photos and can explore a wide variety of mediums to print on — from canvas to wood or metal.

My creative spirit is especially excited about photographing beautiful flowers, abstracts, fractals, architectural elements, old barns and houses, rural Nebraska scenery, locomotives, animals, and of course—ART & FASHION. In fact, my online art store is full of abstract and elemental peaces.

I grew up in North Platte, Nebraska. But, after living in several other places, I returned to my roots in North Platte. My goal is to capture the beauty in the things around us. Even junk and rust can be beautiful. I’ve received numerous awards in art shows and my work is displayed in commercial businesses.

I’ve collaborated with Cinda Baker on many projects over the years. I believe fine art pieces should be framed with the best quality in moldings and framing expertise.
